Rules:
-LITERACY. This board is for semi-literates and above.
If you feel you are not semi-literate or wish to improve, when you post an IC topic, ASK. State you would like to improve, and I am sure someone will gladly post in response.
-Low on romance. I don't mind some romance, but don't push it too far. No mating seasons/matings/giving birth in detail. I ask you to do this over PM with the person/s involved (as well as sending me a forward of the events), and on the forums only to state the event has happened. If you do post in detail upon the forums you will be warned and your post will be edited or deleted. It's not all about the love, people. I am leniant here, but do be cautious. Don't push it. If you would like your roleplays to be a mating season, one with romance, etc, label it as such.
-Violence allowed, but don't get too terribly gory. I love good description, but it does upset some people.
-I do ask for no cursing ANYWHERE on the site. If I see it I will ask you to edit your post, or I shall do so for you. It is a courtesy issue for any members who are younger. Yes, using terms in appropriate context are okay (ie. 'The ass kicked his legs in stubbornness.') by this I am sure you get the point? Only in correct context will these words be permitted. I've been really lax on this one, but I do ask to asterick your language. Why? I do not know how old members are on this site, and to some it is disturbing. Others just read over it. Just take it easy.
-No godmoding or powerplaying unless agreed upon by the starter of the thread. This needs little explanation...
-Whether or not the starter of a thread has posted so in their own rules, you are to follow all these rules. These rules cannot be over-ridden. Do not make me wish I hadn't created this.
-Users who start threads are permitted to include their own rules, which I do expect to be followed--as long as they do not contradict these rules or are unreasonable. Just don't break rules. Easy as that.
-You may talk about other sites (such as virtual pet sites or role playing sites) here. I have no problem with this, whatsoever.
-Be sure to post in the appropriate forum. If you are unsure if it is the correct forum, use your best judgment and say so in your first post. I will read EVERY post here. I will move the topic if it is in the wrong forum.
-If I miss a post with questionable content, please feel free to PM me.
-No racial, political, or religious comments. Simple as that.
-No Spamming, or scamming, please.
-I want this to just be a relaxed site. No 'Shoot, they posted a thousand paragraphs that were SOOOO good, I have to too!' or 'Dang, that's way too literate for me'... Just let your creativity flow. You don't have to take hours on each post, either. It's up to you, though. If you post one or two lines, that's perfectly acceptable. Literates have a tendency of having descriptive posts, and when their creativity isn't flowing, they panic. Just relax and let it flow. Have fun with it.
-No stealing. If I see an intro or post that I recognize from a different user from ANY site, I will immediately ask you about it, and possibly delete your account. If I see you steal someone's intro from this site and take it to another one, I will confront you and most likely delete your account. I will NOT stand for plagiarism. I hope I've made myself clear on this subject. The reason I made this forum is because I WAS having problems with users on other sites. I will NOT tolerate the stealing of another's intros, characters, posts, etc. I have (mostly) ceased roleplaying on the site which I was mainly having problems with, but I continue to roleplay here because I trust y'all. I dare not see a plagiarized item. If you do not understand, then I suggest asking because this will be the one rule, if no others, I will not allow broken whatsoever.
-Enjoy yourself. That's what this is all about. There's some great roleplayers here. Don't be shy about roleplaying. Criticism IS allowed. As long as it is not rude.
