I've noticed that you all have an "Old Role-plays" thread with nothing in it, yet (after having browsed most of the forums by now) I have realized that you have many role-plays that are a year old. What constitutes an old role-play exactly? Lol. I'm not complaining, simply suggesting that you guys hire a maid.
Also while I'm here I suggest that the "Introduction" thread be moved to the top of the home page. Would make it a lot easier to find it and see who the new people are.
I ran and maintained an organization, starting as a page for my friends and then growing into about 500 users online daily, website with forums, newsletters, and an e-mail system for about 3 years so I know a bit about maintaining websites. If you need any help taking out the trash, just ask me.
This is my 2 cents.

Old Roleplays are roleplays that have not been replied to in months. We went through a major purge of all the topics and most of them have been moved to the special staffie/older member forum. The topics that have not been replied to in that time period will be moved pretty soon.
I also agree with the Introduction forum... I couldn't find it for awhile and I've been here since the beginning. xD

Fang, the Introduction forum is new. That explains that one. Secondly, the old roleplays section is there for people to see the following: - Roleplays from the past
- Other people's ideas
- Other people's writing styles so they know who they might want to roleplay with in the future
And if someone wants to join an old roleplay, they can-- it will be moved back if it gets three replies in a week's time. But, as Fang said, mostl moved to a staff forum some time ago.

I know it's new, but how are new members going to find it? I was away for a week and was oblivious to the fact that we had an introduction forum because it's in the general chat as a subforum.
I personally think it should be it's own forum board thingy majig at the top of the page with a board also for the rules. <--- My 2 Cents. xD

But what board do you generally go to when joining a new site? I always move to the Genreal board,
If you ARE going ot make the introductions its own board, then you should add in the rules that you must introduce yourself there and not on the general board.
I am sure you already thought of this.

Isn't it possible to simply add an introductions thread at the top of the home page and keep the one available at the general board, yet make them both link to the same thread? I'm sure that I've done something like that before.
If that isn't possible I know that it's possible to add a redirect link if you have 2 threads with the same name. Make one of them redirect to the other. That is definitely a godo idea to put it into that rules, however I know that I still haven't read them and I've been here over a week. Not sure how many new members actually go and read them... Heh. Now I feel bad, I'll go read them right now.
